Popular Indian authors have always used social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter for reaching out to their loyal audience base. A lot of aspiring writers have used these platforms efficiently to build a career for themselves. Durjoy Datta:

Immortals of Meluha: A book that was an owe to Lord Shiva awakened the followers of Lord Shiva and made this book bestseller in less than a month of release. Immortals of Meluha will soon be a feature film and will certainly break all box office records in no time.

Savi made efficient use of Facebook and Instagram for creating the requisite buzz about her book. She self-published her first book and took the Indian publishing industry by storm.
